For premises that are open to the public, there is a certain electricity related service that is mandatory: employment of electrical testing services. The said public premises include schools, cinemas, clubs and churches. This does not mean to say the places that are not considered to be public in nature need not undergo testing. Even private premises need to be tested at least every 10 years. It is mostly because of ignorance about electrical testing and the neglect of such that electrical disasters happen.
